
Senior Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with product development teams to define cyber security requirements, strategies, and policies.
• Create governance structures for managing vulnerabilities in products.
• Support responses to and recovery from security breaches in partnership with other team members and business units.
• Utilize tools to identify and test potential product vulnerabilities and investigate security incidents.
• Remain informed about industry zero-day discoveries and proactively assess products accordingly.
• Develop technical documentation related to product security, including threat modeling, privacy assessments, and whitepapers.
• Engage in project planning and prioritize security-related deliverables and tasks.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the secure software development life cycle.
• Proficiency in developing or evaluating secure coding practices using technologies such as ASP.Net (C#), SQL Server, HTML, and C++.
• Experience in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
• Security certification such as CAP, CCSP, or an equivalent is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation abilities.
• A solid understanding of application security throughout the software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with addressing OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
