Senior Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and prioritize the backlog of the development team, ensuring a balance between impact, effort, urgency, and perceived value;

• Facilitate and support agile ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and refinements;

• Aid in the comprehension of technical and functional requirements while crafting feature specifications;

• Compose and elaborate on user stories and features, guaranteeing clarity in requirements, acceptance criteria, and use cases;

• Validate team outputs at a high functional level and manage acceptance testing with clients;

• Track product health metrics (errors, crashes, performance) and assess end-user satisfaction;

• Prepare product documentation, which includes release notes and materials for customer support;

• Proactively identify risks, eliminate obstacles, and align both internal and external stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Professional proficiency in Spanish.

• Willingness and availability to travel domestically and internationally for work.

• Strong communication skills to convey business and technical concepts to various audiences.

• Highly organized and disciplined in maintaining an up-to-date backlog and documentation.

• Capable of negotiating priorities by balancing client needs with team capacity.

• Collaborative mindset, facilitating seamless integration between internal teams and clients.

• Assume ownership of the scope you manage, overseeing end-to-end deliveries.

• Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within agile environments.

• Familiarity with backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.

• Technical curiosity and a desire to understand operational mechanics.

• Hands-on approach; enjoys learning through practical experience.

• Experience with digital products and technology-oriented companies.

• Background with clients in the telecommunications sector or involvement in large-scale projects in utilities and energy (preferred).

• Process-oriented mentality; knowledge of concepts such as BPMN and similar methodologies (preferred).

• Proficiency in writing scripts, SQL queries, and utilizing other technical tools to enhance workflow (preferred).

• Understanding of UX practices and the overall end-user experience (preferred).
