Senior Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape, competitors, and customer requirements to guide product strategy and development timelines for various products.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, design, and business units, to establish product specifications and prioritize feature development.

• Partner closely with engineering teams within the Agile squad to ensure alignment of the product vision with technical capabilities and limitations.

• Create and sustain a detailed product roadmap, highlighting essential milestones and delivery timelines.

• Track product performance and user feedback to enhance the product continuously and boost customer satisfaction.

• Develop and manage the product backlog, ensuring it contains well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.

• Provide guidance and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders.

• Ensure the team consistently has a sufficient number of prepared tasks to work on.

• Identify issues related to the product's evolution.

• Offer conceptual and technical solutions to facilitate product delivery.

• Analyze business structures, technology utilization, and strategic goals to offer relevant advice to stakeholders and support the Agile team.

• Recognize problems within a business environment, utilizing data modeling techniques as necessary.

• Develop strategies for business improvement based on prior research.

• Consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding the advantages or disadvantages of new technologies or strategies.

• Oversee the deployment of new technologies and systems.

• Identify and manage all obstacles, documenting solutions as they arise.

• Lead and manage product releases while setting expectations for the delivery of new features.

• Actively participate in identifying and mitigating challenges that affect the successful completion of sprint objectives and product releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, or a related field is preferred.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

• Proficient in managing stakeholder expectations and feedback.

• Interest and understanding of project management methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile processes and principles is highly desirable.

• Capacity to provide project leadership to a team.

• Passion for User Experience (UX) design.

• A creative thinker with a clear vision.
