Senior Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the backlog strategy and prioritization for a significant or intricate product area.

• Lead a small to medium-sized cross-functional team through the stages of discovery, planning, and delivery.

• Establish standards for high-quality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Act as an escalation point for complex requirements and dependencies.

• Coach, mentor, and evaluate the work of Associate Product Owners and Product Owners.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX to effectively sequence complex initiatives.

• Engage directly with government clients and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Extensive proficiency in Agile/SDLC; expert knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Figma.

• Experience in the public sector or gov-tech domain is preferred.

• Strong understanding of technical components such as APIs, Middleware, Services, and SQL.
