Senior Product Owner

Posted Jul 27

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Establish and prioritize the roadmap for both BUSY Bar and BUSY App.

• Detail the operation of key scenarios, including focus mode, timers, distraction blocking, statuses, integrations, and automations.

• Ensure alignment among hardware, app, and integrations to maintain product cohesion.

• Engage with user feedback, community insights, and internal team dynamics.

• Work collaboratively with design and development teams to determine which features should be developed and which should not.

• Transform ideas and discussions into precise product requirements, user flows, and actionable tasks.

• Track onboarding, activation, retention, and repeat usage metrics.

• Take part in launching new features and enhancing existing ones.

• Ensure alignment of product decisions across design, development, marketing, support, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Product Lead.

• Practical product ownership — you drive results, not just engage in discussions.

• Comfortable working at the intersection of hardware and software.

• Capable of viewing the product holistically: device, app, integrations, states, constraints, and dependencies.

• Proficient in transforming diverse inputs into a well-defined structure and priorities.

• Writes clear and concise product requirements without unnecessary details.

• Experienced in collaborating with engineers and designers in a shared context.

• Knowledgeable about technical subjects: APIs, integrations, device behavior, and cross-platform logic.

• Maintains product focus — avoids cramming everything into the roadmap.

• Makes decisions based on common sense, user insights, and data rather than intuition.

• Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience with consumer hardware, companion apps, or connected devices.

• Background in productivity products, focus tools, or behavioral UX.

• Experience with automation, integrations, or features designed for developers.

• Familiarity with community-driven products.

• Experience working on fast-paced products that continue to evolve.
