This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Take ownership of the BUSY product as a cohesive system rather than merely a set of features.
• Establish and prioritize the roadmap for both BUSY Bar and BUSY App.
• Detail the operation of key scenarios, including focus mode, timers, distraction blocking, statuses, integrations, and automations.
• Ensure alignment among hardware, app, and integrations to maintain product cohesion.
• Engage with user feedback, community insights, and internal team dynamics.
• Work collaboratively with design and development teams to determine which features should be developed and which should not.
• Transform ideas and discussions into precise product requirements, user flows, and actionable tasks.
• Track onboarding, activation, retention, and repeat usage metrics.
• Take part in launching new features and enhancing existing ones.
• Ensure alignment of product decisions across design, development, marketing, support, and operations.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Product Lead.
• Practical product ownership — you drive results, not just engage in discussions.
• Comfortable working at the intersection of hardware and software.
• Capable of viewing the product holistically: device, app, integrations, states, constraints, and dependencies.
• Proficient in transforming diverse inputs into a well-defined structure and priorities.
• Writes clear and concise product requirements without unnecessary details.
• Experienced in collaborating with engineers and designers in a shared context.
• Knowledgeable about technical subjects: APIs, integrations, device behavior, and cross-platform logic.
• Maintains product focus — avoids cramming everything into the roadmap.
• Makes decisions based on common sense, user insights, and data rather than intuition.
• Nice-to-have:
• Hands-on experience with consumer hardware, companion apps, or connected devices.
• Background in productivity products, focus tools, or behavioral UX.
• Experience with automation, integrations, or features designed for developers.
• Familiarity with community-driven products.
• Experience working on fast-paced products that continue to evolve.
