Senior Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage with key stakeholders within the Strategic Architecture community to grasp the product roadmap and strategic vision.

• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure alignment of Encompass deployment, operational capabilities, and roadmap execution.

• Coordinate with System and Strategic Architects to comprehend the technical direction, including the ‘architectural runway’.

• Define and sustain an effective feature backlog that aligns with both the roadmap and architecture.

• Establish feature scope, including acceptance criteria for all features.

• Convey the business context for epics and features to the development teams.

• Prepare a prioritized backlog for each Program Increment planning.

• Serve as a customer proxy during development activities to provide insights on fitness and usability.

• Act as a representative for end-user personas to ensure all documentation is crafted from their perspective.

• Accept features that meet the agreed definition of ‘done’.

• Advocate for the use of AI to enhance both production improvements and work practices.

• Communicate project scope to stakeholders throughout the delivery process.

• Collaborate with various departments such as Professional Services, Managed Services, and Platform Engineering to gather end-user feedback and integrate it into our product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related field.

• Possess over 10 years of overall experience.

• Previous experience as an Architect or Product Owner is advantageous.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with scaled agile practices is preferred.

• Familiarity with ADO and DevOps is essential.

• Strong hands-on development experience in the past is required.

• Demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to comprehend technical design concepts, current implementations, and future enhancements on a technical level.

• Have a solid understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS, but other platforms are welcome as well.

• Experience with container technologies and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is preferred.

• Familiarity with Encompass product deployment and a comprehensive understanding of operational challenges and usability issues is necessary.

• Exposure to Operations and Deployment models in production environments is beneficial.
