Senior Product Owner, Anti-Fraud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Strategy & Discovery - Establish the roadmap for fraud prevention products, proactively identifying emerging threats and opportunities for optimization within risk engines.

• Data-Driven Decision Making - Engage directly with data. You will have the freedom to execute your own SQL queries to validate hypotheses, generate performance reports, and support project prioritization based on financial and operational insights.

• ML/AI Lifecycle Management - Actively engage in the design and advancement of Machine Learning models, translating intricate business rules into clear requirements for Data Science and Engineering teams.

• Delivery & Backlog Management - Convert strategy into precise, technical User Stories, manage a prioritized backlog, and ensure ongoing value delivery alongside the development team.

• Performance & KPIs - Vigilantly monitor success metrics (Fraud Rate, Approval Rate, False Positives, Chargeback) and communicate the impact of initiatives to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior Experience as PM/PO - Demonstrated success in managing digital products that handle high transaction volumes.

• Hands-on Analytical Profile - Strong SQL skills to independently execute queries, join datasets, and conduct analyses (you don’t need to be a DBA, but autonomy is essential).

• Payments / Fraud Background - Prior experience with payment methods (Acquiring, Issuers, Schemes) and/or tools for fraud prevention.

• Business Acumen - Capability to balance financial risk (losses) with user friction (conversion).

• Communication Skills - Proficient in conveying technical concepts to developers and data scientists, while also addressing strategic matters with business stakeholders.

• Nice to Have

• Machine Learning / AI Experience - Involvement in projects related to the development or retraining of predictive models.

• Statistical Knowledge - For more in-depth behavioral analysis and modeling.

• Languages - Proficiency in English and/or Spanish (technical reading and international standards).
