• Take charge of the narrative for the AI observability category — articulating its significance, the reasons it matters, and Monte Carlo's leadership in the space — across product launches, marketing campaigns, and competitive scenarios.
• Develop unique positioning that resonates with both technical practitioners (data engineers, ML platform teams, AI engineers) and executive stakeholders (CDOs, CIOs, Heads of AI/ML).
• Design and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches, encompassing messaging frameworks, launch plans, and pricing insights.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and adjacent markets, transforming insights into precise positioning and field-ready battlecards.
• Empower the sales team for success: create battlecards, objection-handling guides, and training materials that are practical and utilized in the field.
• Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to create impactful assets — such as whitepapers, webinars, and case studies — that effectively build the sales pipeline.
• Deliver customer and market intelligence directly to the Product team, influencing the prioritization of the product roadmap.
• Over 3 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong preference for a background in observability (application or data) — enabling you to quickly engage with the relevant challenges.
• Proficiency in AI: you actively utilize tools like Claude in your daily tasks and leverage them to generate tangible outcomes — rather than merely fostering awareness.
• Skills in sales enablement: you thrive as the go-to person for the field, developing battlecards and objection handlers, and ensuring that the assets are effectively implemented.
• Proven experience in category creation or market redefinition — you have defined a category, rather than just marketed within an existing one.
• Strong narrative-building abilities: you can create compelling stories that differentiate technical products in competitive environments and write credibly for both ML engineers and CIOs.
• Comprehensive GTM ownership — you have managed strategy rather than merely providing execution support.
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments — you are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can work quickly without extensive structure.
• Category leadership opportunity: You will be at the forefront of defining how the market perceives AI observability — not just following a playbook, but creating it.
• Genuine product differentiation: Agent Observability and the partnership with Databricks provide substantial material to craft a compelling narrative.
• A seat at the table: Engage directly with Product and Sales leadership, rather than being a downstream marketing function.
• Promising company trajectory: Series D funding, $236M raised, and expansion into the fastest-growing segment in enterprise AI.
