
Senior Product Manager – Strategic Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Lead and shape strategic initiatives for product development.
• Oversee discovery processes for significant wallet projects, converting vague concepts into defined problem statements, user journeys, and success criteria.
• Structure options, trade-offs, and recommendations to foster alignment and facilitate decision-making.
• Translate complex inputs into clear product direction and actionable plans.
• Define viable solutions and ensure their feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design to establish scalable, feasible solutions.
• Map out dependencies across platforms, schemes, banks, and rollout constraints.
• Identify potential risks early and implement practical mitigation strategies.
• Foster alignment across the ecosystem and leadership teams.
• Work in tandem with Product, Engineering, and member banks to influence product evolution.
• Develop clear business cases and narratives that are ready for leadership decision-making.
• Transform partner and market feedback into structured product insights and priorities.
• Over 8 years of experience in contributing to or driving product strategy, from problem definition to solution prioritization.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, systems, and integrations, without requiring hands-on coding experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills: Successfully align across product, engineering, design, leadership, and external partners, while gaining buy-in amidst competing priorities.
• Strong skills in problem-solving and structuring (trade-offs, risks, dependencies).
• Exceptional written communication abilities, producing clear, structured, and decision-ready outputs.
• A high ownership mindset and the capability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Experience in payments, wallets, fintech, or regulated sectors (preferred): Provide relevant domain knowledge that accelerates ramp-up time.
• Fluency in English (CEFR C1 or C2) is essential; knowledge of French, German, Dutch, or any other European languages is a plus.
