Senior Product Manager, Shopify Apps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Drive product strategy for key initiatives: Collaborate with leadership to establish the vision for specific product areas and achieve results at scale.

• Prototype AI-driven solutions: Leverage your technical expertise and AI tools to swiftly create prototypes, test them with users, and iterate rapidly.

• Customer-centric discovery: Conduct weekly customer interviews, analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, and pinpoint opportunities to address real problems at scale.

• Prioritize for impact: Lead prioritization across various initiatives, ensuring clarity and focus.

• Collaborate with engineering & design: Work closely with technical teams, communicating effectively and enhancing delivery through clear, outcome-oriented thinking.

• Advocate for product excellence: Ensure that solutions are not only functional but also delightful, upholding Vitals’ reputation as one of the most beloved apps in the Shopify ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven senior-level product management: Over 5 years of experience in delivering digital products in e-commerce or SaaS, including at least 2+ years within the Shopify ecosystem.

• Shopify experience (MANDATORY): Direct PM or builder experience at Shopify Inc. OR as a PM/founder/individual contributor of a Shopify App. Experience running a Shopify store, performing agency work for stores, or similar merchant-side experience alone does NOT qualify. Candidates currently working at Shopify are not eligible.

• Technical proficiency: Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, understand technical constraints, and utilize lightweight tools to quickly test and validate product ideas.

• Hands-on AI developer: Regularly use AI tools, write your own product requirement documents, build your own clickable prototypes, create internal tools & skills, and conduct discovery independently.

• Analytical & user-focused: Strong capability to utilize data and customer insights to inform prioritization and decision-making.

• Strategic & executional balance: Ability to step back to define vision and dive deep to address detailed issues.

• Excellent communicator: Proficient in articulating product ideas across teams, with structured writing and storytelling skills.

• Team leadership: Experience in managing and mentoring Product Managers, encouraging collaboration, and scaling product teams in a startup environment.

• Startup mindset: High energy, proactive attitude, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited structure.
