
Senior Product Manager, Scheduling Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership of the product strategy, roadmap, and implementation for Weave’s Scheduling Platform.
• Drive product discovery for platform-related challenges by understanding current user problem-solving methods, exploring new technologies, and pinpointing opportunities to enhance outcomes for Weave customers.
• Collaborate with internal product teams (consumers) to comprehend their needs and identify shared opportunities for new platform functionalities.
• Prioritize the platform roadmap and oversee execution, making informed decisions about risk, sequencing, and business value, while breaking work into staged deliveries that yield early value and advance longer-term platform enhancements.
• Work closely with engineering to direct platform investments and phased execution.
• Communicate platform decisions, associated risks, and business implications to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with integrations, feature teams, and other product domains to manage dependencies, data contracts, and the evolution of the shared platform.
• Over 5 years of product management experience, preferably with significant ownership of a platform, infrastructure-related, integration-heavy, or otherwise technical product area.
• Strong product judgment with the capability to define reusable functionalities instead of merely addressing one-off requests.
• Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and provide clarity in uncertain situations.
• Proven execution skills and a history of managing complex cross-functional initiatives from problem identification through to delivery.
• Capability to collaborate credibly with senior engineers on technical trade-offs and long-term platform decisions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, including the skill to articulate the importance of technical platform work to the business.
• Proficiency in effective collaboration with engineering, design, analytics, support, go-to-market teams, and fellow product managers.
• Sound judgment on when to invest in robust foundations and when to avoid excessive development.
• Familiarity with API design and contract considerations.
• Understanding of integration limitations and the requirements of downstream consumers.
• Comfort with reading API documentation, technical specifications, and engaging in system design discussions.
• Ability to utilize data and observability tools to assess platform health and performance, such as Grafana.
