This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Develop the strategic vision and roadmap for a comprehensive multi-surface reporting system, which includes in-app report creation, dashboards, scheduled deliveries, exports, APIs/connectors, embedded partner interfaces, and AI/agent experiences.
• Convert workflows from payroll, finance, HR, executives, managers, internal operators, and partners/builders into clear product priorities.
• Manage payroll-grade reporting functionalities, encompassing standard reports, configurable report building, GL/journal exports, variance reporting, reconciliation, definitions, permissions, lineage, auditability, and observability.
• Recognize opportunities for AI applications, anomaly detection, driver analysis, and proactive recommendations while ensuring outputs are explainable, source-backed, and compliant.
• Collaborate with teams from Data, Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, Sales, CX, Finance, Operations, and external partners to deliver scalable reporting solutions.
• Set and monitor KPIs for adoption, engagement, trust, report accuracy, distribution usage, retention, expansion, and internal leverage.
• Regularly enhance the product based on customer feedback and data insights.
• Report to a Senior Group Product Manager and engage daily with cross-functional partners.
• Proven track record as a Senior-level Product Manager, with a focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, workflow, or insights products.
• Required proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code.
• Capability to independently build, debug, and deploy functional code and prototypes.
• Hands-on ability to comprehend data schemas, query patterns, analytics code, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong end-to-end data literacy, including knowledge of models/schemas, lineage, and report generation.
• Understanding of data concepts such as grain, joins, aggregations, double-counting, currency/time zones, effective dating, and late-arriving data.
• Proficient in reading and writing SQL to validate results, investigate discrepancies, and ensure metrics are accurately defined, reconciled, and reliable.
• Ability to collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to address definition and modeling challenges.
• Deep customer empathy and awareness of everyday customer workflows.
• Skilled in aligning cross-functional stakeholders, navigating trade-offs, and prioritizing customer needs.
• Strong UX sensibilities regarding complex data, reporting, and insights workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to explain intricate data, reporting, AI, and compliance trade-offs to non-technical executives while conveying value to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Business-level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Experience in HR Tech, payroll, finance, compliance, or B2B SaaS products is a plus.
