This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Define the vision and roadmap for a comprehensive reporting system that encompasses in-app report creation, dashboards, scheduled deliveries, exports, APIs/connectors, integrated partner surfaces, and AI/agent experiences.
• Cultivate empathy for various personas including payroll, finance, HR, executives, managers, internal operators, and partner/builders, transforming workflows into product priorities.
• Manage payroll-grade reporting functions such as standard reports, customizable report creation, GL/journal exports, variance reporting, reconciliation, definitions, permissions, lineage, auditability, and observability.
• Discover opportunities for AI implementation, anomaly detection, driver analysis, and proactive recommendations while ensuring outputs are explainable, source-backed, and compliant.
• Collaborate with Data, Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, Sales, CX, Finance, Operations, and external partners to provide scalable reporting solutions.
• Set KPIs for adoption, engagement, trust, report accuracy, distribution usage, retention, expansion, and internal leverage.
• Utilize customer feedback and data continuously to enhance the product.
• Report to a Senior Group Product Manager and work closely with cross-functional partners on a daily basis.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, workflow, or insights products.
• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code (Required).
• Capability to independently build, debug, and deploy functional code and prototypes.
• Hands-on understanding of data schemas, query patterns, analytics code, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong foundational knowledge in data literacy, including models/schemas, lineage, and report generation.
• Familiarity with grain, joins, aggregations, double-counting, currency/timezones, effective dating, and late-arriving data.
• Ability to read and write SQL for result validation and discrepancy investigation.
• Ensure that metrics are well-defined, reconciled, and reliable.
• Collaborate with Data/Engineering on definition and modeling challenges.
• Deep understanding of customer needs and day-to-day workflows.
• Skilled in aligning cross-functional stakeholders and navigating trade-offs.
• Strong UX sensibilities for intricate data, reporting, and insights workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in explaining complex data, reporting, AI, and compliance trade-offs to non-technical executives.
• Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in HR Tech, payroll, finance, compliance, or B2B SaaS products is a plus.
