This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Take ownership of the product vision, architecture, implementation strategy, and roadmap for a range of healthcare data products within the U.S. payer and market access landscape.
β’ Lead planning for a multi-product roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage core data assets into related product lines and novel use cases.
β’ Convert intricate business needs into actionable product priorities through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, content, delivery, and commercial teams.
β’ Establish and monitor product KPIs β such as data completeness, fill rates, classification accuracy, refresh timeliness, and client adoption β to guide roadmap prioritization and showcase product value.
β’ Perform independent market and domain research to stay ahead of the evolving payer dynamics, benefit design trends, and regulatory changes that affect product positioning.
β’ Manage relationships with third-party healthcare data vendors, including evaluating data quality, negotiating source activation/deactivation, and ensuring smooth integration of vendor feeds into core product pipelines.
β’ Define and oversee the data models and classification frameworks that accurately represent complex payer ecosystems, benefit structures, and access relationships in collaboration with engineering to ensure precision, scalability, and clarity.
β’ Set and maintain data standards, business rules, and classification methodologies that guarantee consistency, accuracy, and long-term scalability across products.
β’ Specify integration requirements that enable internal data assets to work seamlessly with various third-party healthcare datasets (e.g., formulary, claims, reference data) while adhering to vendor-agnostic principles.
β’ Design and uphold product governance processes β including refresh schedules, issue resolution workflows, and mechanisms for continuous improvement.
β’ Define quality assurance standards and monitoring protocols, collaborating with engineering and analytics teams to implement automated frameworks using SQL, cloud data platforms, and BI tools to proactively ensure data integrity.
β’ Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional product team β cultivating a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
β’ Manage the entire talent lifecycle β from defining role requirements and creating assessments to interviewing, onboarding, and retaining top talent.
β’ Drive performance management with purpose β providing structured feedback, managing career development discussions, and recognizing contributions that reinforce a high-performance culture.
β’ Act as a trusted product authority for internal consulting and commercial teams β translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable guidance for client-facing discussions.
β’ Lead the resolution of intricate client-reported data issues β conducting root cause analysis, quantifying business impact, and delivering clear corrective actions.
β’ Oversee the design and delivery of client-specific data solutions β balancing customization needs with core product integrity and scalability.
β’ Manage external product communications β creating updates, newsletters, and release notes that keep clients informed about product evolution.
β’ Develop internal enablement programs β training consulting and engagement teams on product nuances, interpretation, and effective client storytelling.
β’ Promote operational excellence by standardizing processes, implementing automation, and enhancing governance to minimize risk and boost throughput.
β’ Create structured documentation, onboarding frameworks, and knowledge repositories that ensure product continuity and mitigate single-point-of-failure risks.
β’ 8+ years of experience in product management, healthcare analytics, or pharmaceutical market data solutions, including at least 3 years specifically focused on U.S. payer/market access data products.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare payer ecosystem, including PBM structures, benefit design, and market access dynamics.
β’ Practical experience integrating and working with a variety of healthcare datasets β including formulary, claims, and reference data. Preferably experience with commercial healthcare datasets such as MMIT, DRG, IQVIA, Symphony, and others.
β’ Strong technical skills in SQL, cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
β’ Proven track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing teams in distributed or global environments.
β’ Excellent communication skills β both written and verbal β with the ability to simplify complex data concepts for varied audiences.
β’ Strategic thinker with a consultative approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
β’ Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational change β including leadership transitions, operating model redesign, and cross-functional alignment.
β’ Experience in full-cycle talent management β hiring, performance assessments, career development, and fostering team culture.
β’ Comfortable operating at the intersection of product, data, and client engagement β with the judgment to balance competing priorities.
β’ Familiarity with SaaS/data product commercialization and client contract structures; exposure to pricing models and revenue impacts is a plus.
