This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Transform existing market research into a concise, written investment thesis for the initiative.
• Identify the data that is still lacking — such as pricing intelligence, willingness to pay, integration limitations, and donor and gift-officer behavior — and obtain it through primary interviews, secondary research, and vendor landscape analysis.
• Maintain a comprehensive source of truth for the initiative: thesis, decision log, and learnings.
• Transition from thesis to validated hypothesis using working prototypes.
• Create prototypes utilizing AI tools — clickable flows, interactive demonstrations, scripted agents — and deliver and refine them within days.
• Validate every cycle through three loops: with major donors and their advisors, with enterprise nonprofits (gift officers, CFOs, CRM owners), and with internal teams (Sales, CSM, Partnerships).
• Transform each validation cycle into a documented decision memo with clear kill criteria.
• Test transactional versus SaaS versus hybrid pricing against evidence of willingness to pay.
• Develop the unit economics: take rate, ACV, gross margin, CAC payback.
• Present a refined, defensible model to leadership.
• Collaborate with PMM, CSM, and Sales on positioning and pilot pricing.
• Share ownership of the customer advisory pipeline for the initiative.
• Equip GTM with the necessary artifacts: one-pagers, demos, and pricing rationale.
• Provide weekly updates on progress in the New Products channel.
• Maintain decision logs and summaries of learnings.
• Document bad ideas to eliminate them — ensure no 'zombies' linger.
• Mentor adjacent POs and PMs in New Products on discovery rigor, decision-making, and writing skills — elevate the standards across the portfolio.
• A minimum of 8 years in product management (or 6+ years in product along with 2+ years in an adjacent function such as engineering, design, or data), including at least 2 years working on 0→1 / new product line initiatives — rather than feature optimization.
• Experience in launching a new product line or business model that previously did not exist, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments.
• Conducted in-depth enterprise customer discovery — engaging with 5+ decision-makers per cycle rather than just user interviews.
• Owned a revenue model: conducting pricing experiments, analyzing unit economics, and validating willingness to pay.
• Comfortable being the sole point of accountability for an initiative without an existing team.
• Naturally adept with AI. You don't merely use AI for drafting documents — you develop clickable prototypes, interactive demos, and lightweight validation tools independently using modern AI tooling. You can produce a testable prototype in days. AI is integrated into your discovery process, not just an auxiliary productivity tool.
• Willing to engage with a portfolio rather than a single product. The major giving initiative is your first assignment; if validation disproves the thesis, you will pursue the next strategic initiative in New Products.
• Comprehensive private medical insurance for employees and their families.
• 22 paid vacation days each year.
• Up to 14 paid public holidays annually.
• 5 company-paid sick leave days.
• Access to English language learning courses.
• Opportunities for relevant professional education.
• Gym or swimming pool access.
• Home Office Setup Assistance: the company provides support for purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to create a comfortable workspace.
• Co-working options available.
• Flexible remote working arrangements.
• €50 monthly allowance to cover internet and mobile phone expenses.
