Senior Product Manager, New Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Transform current market research into a concise, written investment thesis for the initiative.

• Determine the missing data — such as pricing insights, willingness to pay, integration limitations, and donor and gift-officer behavior — and gather it through primary interviews, secondary research, and vendor analysis.

• Maintain a centralized source of truth for the initiative: thesis, decision logs, and learnings.

• Progress from thesis to validated hypothesis via working prototypes.

• Create prototypes independently using AI tools — including clickable flows, interactive demos, and scripted agents — and deliver and refine them within days.

• Validate through three loops each cycle: with major donors and their advisors, enterprise nonprofits (gift officers, CFOs, CRM owners), and internal teams (Sales, CSM, Partnerships).

• Document every validation cycle in a decision memo that includes explicit kill criteria.

• Test transactional vs SaaS vs hybrid pricing against willingness-to-pay evidence.

• Develop the unit economics: take rate, ACV, gross margin, and CAC payback.

• Present a refined, defensible model to leadership.

• Collaborate with PMM, CSM, and Sales on positioning and pilot pricing.

• Co-manage the customer advisory pipeline for the initiative.

• Provide GTM with essential artifacts: one-pagers, demos, and pricing rationale.

• Share weekly progress updates in the New Products channel.

• Keep decision logs and learning summaries up to date.

• Eliminate ineffective ideas in writing — ensure no bad concepts linger.

• Guide adjacent POs and PMs in New Products on discovery rigor, decision-making, and writing skills — enhance standards across the portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product (or 6+ years in product plus 2+ years in a related function such as engineering, design, or data), with a minimum of 2 years in 0→1 / new product line development — not just feature optimization.

• Successfully launched a new product line or business model that previously did not exist, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments.

• Conducted in-depth enterprise customer discovery — engaging with 5+ decision-makers per cycle, beyond just user interviews.

• Managed a revenue model: pricing experiments, unit economics, and willingness-to-pay validation.

• Comfortable being the sole point of accountability for an initiative without an established team.

• AI-native by nature. You utilize AI not only to draft documents but also to create clickable prototypes, interactive demos, and lightweight validation tools independently using modern AI technologies. You can deliver a testable prototype in a matter of days. AI is integrated into your discovery process, rather than serving as a separate productivity enhancement.

• Willing to join a portfolio rather than focus on a single product. The major giving initiative will be your first mandate; if validation disproves the thesis, you will take on the next strategic initiative in New Products.
