This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Define and take ownership of the product roadmap for Market Data Feeds, ensuring a balance between feed quality, coverage, and commercial ROI, while establishing measurable success criteria for accountability among delivery teams.
• Manage feed builds from start to finish, encompassing vendor sourcing and data modeling to production delivery, driving results that align with client objectives.
• Create solutions to enhance market data operations and enhance the integration of Market and Reference Data throughout Addepar's offerings.
• Identify and address gaps in market data coverage by collaborating with clients, sales, and data operations to uncover high-impact sourcing opportunities.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of vendor licensing terms and entitlement workflows, ensuring that sourcing and onboarding decisions are made with clear awareness of contractual constraints and cost implications.
• Collaborate with the licensing and finance teams to assess new data sourcing decisions for profitability, providing product-level oversight on significant licensing transitions (e.g., direct licensing migrations).
• Contribute to the advancement of Addepar's Security Master, directly linking Market Data inputs to enrich the information provided to both client and internal product teams.
• Work closely with GTM, Sales, and Support to proactively communicate changes in Market Data and serve as a well-informed partner regarding dataset capabilities, feed status, and onboarding timelines.
• Gain a deep understanding of Addepar's products and clients, using these insights to identify new opportunities that enhance the client experience.
• Extensive relevant work experience and educational background that demonstrate proficiency in product management and user workflows.
• Strong understanding and familiarity with Market Data vendors (such as Bloomberg, LSEG, S&P, Morningstar, etc.) and the best practices for sourcing and implementing their content.
• Domain expertise in market data processing and entitlement workflows, security mastering, and financial products, coupled with solid knowledge of the financial data ecosystem.
• Experience in building and launching commercial data products within financial services, along with a comprehension of data governance practices.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, particularly with engineering, operations, and GTM teams.
• Practical knowledge of agile methodologies and lean practices; a creative approach to project management, with a willingness to experiment and guide teams towards processes that best meet project objectives.
• Capability to identify the right tools and techniques necessary for achieving goals.
• Proficiency in SQL to query data for product-related inquiries; experience with Python and Databricks is an added advantage.
• Experience and capability in utilizing AI tools to drive outcomes as a Product Manager.
• Ability to foster team success through leadership, urgency, accountability, and initiative.
• Skill in partnering with diverse stakeholders (from highly technical to non-technical colleagues) and working effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• A confident and positive demeanor with a low ego; a high level of creativity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities; adept at navigating ambiguity.
