This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Create AI and ML solutions aimed at enhancing business performance and efficiency across various domains.

• Oversee complete AI/ML project lifecycles, from understanding business requirements to data preparation, model development, solution deployment, and monitoring after production.

• Analyze and address intricate business challenges using analytical and quantitative methods to uncover patterns and correlations within large and complex datasets.

• Integrate and curate data from diverse internal and external sources to generate comprehensive datasets for predictive and prescriptive modeling, as well as machine learning.

• Establish and apply best practices to produce accurate reports, visualizations, and dashboards that effectively communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop models for visual recognition and natural language processing that assess complex data to make predictions or decisions, simulating human intelligence.

• Determine the most effective model architecture and parameters to enhance accuracy and overall performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and concerns while producing concise analytics that deliver actionable insights to guide strategy and performance.

• Build partnerships, share knowledge, and provide valuable predictive insights to inform strategic decisions, emphasizing potential risks and opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing AI and/or machine learning models for business applications.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in training, fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying models in a production environment.

• Over 3 years of experience with data lakes and cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• A Master’s degree is highly preferred.

• Data Science or AI certifications are required.

• Extensive knowledge in machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, large language models, natural language processing, or similar fields.

• Proven experience in algorithm selection, model training, feature engineering, performance fine-tuning, and implementation.

• Proficiency in Python and key data science libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and/or Seaborn.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with SQL query engines.

• Familiarity with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Expertise in Agile methodology for product and software development.

• Exceptional quantitative skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
