Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Extract, transform, and analyze data to uncover insights and address inquiries regarding the data's content.

• Conduct analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to deliver essential insights to both internal and external clients.

• Support the sales function by offering data expertise, conducting feasibility reviews, and providing detailed analyses in response to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

• Participate in the development and innovation of Comscore’s offerings to the market.

• Oversee and guide cross-functional teams of analysts.

• Design and maintain internal and external user interface and reporting tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in data science, mathematics, science, engineering, or a related field.

• 2-4+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience with big data.

• A solution-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in database query tools (SQL, Python, JSON, etc.).

• Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel.

• Ability to translate SQL queries into shell scripts for automation and execution purposes.

• Capacity to partner and collaborate across various teams.

• Eagerness to research new tools and methods to enhance functionality and boost productivity, including AI tools.

• Openness to seek and provide constructive feedback.

• Experience with AWS and cloud-based technologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with the Media Measurement space is a plus.
