This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Define and take ownership of the product vision and roadmap for Dandelion’s life science data offerings, ensuring alignment with customer needs, technical feasibility, and business strategy.
• Lead product discovery and strategic research initiatives, including market analysis, problem validation, and targeted customer interviews to guide roadmap decisions.
• Identify high-impact opportunities for developing scalable data products and applications tailored to life science and clinical development use cases.
• Transform product strategy into explicit product requirements, success metrics, and prioritization frameworks.
• Design and implement AI-driven automation and workflows that enhance data accessibility, analysis, and clinical development processes for life science clients.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and data science teams to define technical approaches, make trade-offs, and drive execution from concept to launch.
• Assess product performance and usage to iterate on features, enhance outcomes, and direct future investments.
• Stay abreast of trends in life sciences, clinical development, and clinical AI, utilizing industry insights to steer product direction and differentiation.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in developing data products or platforms for life science or healthcare customers.
• Proficient in product discovery and strategy, including leading customer interviews and translating findings into roadmap decisions.
• Technical fluency, with comfort in working with:
• - Data infrastructure
• - APIs and data pipelines
• - AI / ML-enabled products (coding skills are not necessary, but familiarity with the terminology is important)
• Proven experience partnering with engineering and data teams to deliver complex products.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and take on various roles within an early-stage company.
• Preferred:
• - Experience in building 0→1 products or scaling early-stage products for life science customers
• - Background in UX or product design, with strong intuition for customer workflows and usability.
• - Prior experience in data science or analytics.
