Senior Product Manager, Legal & Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for the Legal & Insurance Requester Experience.

• Create user-friendly workflows for submitting requests, tracking progress, retrieving information, fulfilling requests, and analyzing records.

• Collaborate with UX, CX, and Operations teams to identify bottlenecks in existing workflows and convert them into scalable product solutions.

• Enhance retrieval coverage and reliability through integrations with aggregators, providers, and partners.

• Develop AI-assisted tools that enable legal and insurance users to extract essential insights from medical records.

• Enhance outcomes in terms of speed, completeness, transparency, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

• Assist in transforming a newly emerging vertical into a sustainable, distinctive product business for Datavant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, with a successful track record of leading complex, enterprise-level, data-driven products.

• Proven ability to take a product from initial concept to market launch.

• Familiarity with data exchange, retrieval, or healthcare data products; additional experience in legal and insurance medical record retrieval and analysis is a plus.

• Comfortable designing products in highly regulated, high-stakes environments, while balancing compliance alongside user experience.

• Proficient at simplifying complex concepts and influencing executives, technical leaders, and non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset — willing to get hands-on, comfortable with uncertainty, eager to learn, and focused on execution.

• Strong ability to collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to address ambiguous and complex data challenges.

• A team-oriented individual who fosters strong relationships and contributes to a positive, high-performing culture.
