This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan, +5 more countries.
• Take ownership of the integrations roadmap, prioritizing enterprise systems for connection.
• Make decisions regarding building, partnering, or utilizing platforms for integrations.
• Manage the public API and enhance the developer experience, which includes resource design, versioning, pagination, error semantics, rate limiting, webhooks, documentation, and sandbox environment.
• Establish data contracts and canonical models for employee, schedule, time, demand, and payroll information.
• Transform custom integration projects into reusable platform capabilities such as connectors, mapping and transformation tools, sync monitoring, and self-serve configurations.
• Oversee authentication, authorization, tenancy, PII management, and compliance posture.
• Aim to reduce time-to-first-value on deployments and include deployment friction in the roadmap.
• Make integration health a key product feature through observability, reconciliation, data quality indicators, and well-defined failure states.
• Draft specifications, conduct API reviews, test in staging, troubleshoot production sync issues, and collaborate directly with customer IT.
• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including customer engineering and IT teams.
• 5–9+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically in technical or platform products such as APIs, data pipelines, or integrations.
• Proven track record of managing a public or partner-facing API.
• Proficient in REST and event-driven integration methodologies, webhooks, polling, batch processing, streaming, ETL/ELT, idempotency, retries, backfills, and reconciliation.
• Capability to read schemas, write queries, inspect payloads, and evaluate data quality.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, SAML/SSO, SCIM, encryption, role-based access, and audit logging.
• Experience with integrating enterprise systems of record such as HCM, payroll, WFM, or ERP.
• Background in delivering to enterprise customers with lengthy deployment processes, IT stakeholders, and security assessments.
• Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to understand intricate business processes and industry contexts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is mentioned in the application process, though not explicitly required.
