Senior Product Manager, Fintech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on the strategic roadmap for innovative fintech products — including capital lending, enhanced payment experiences, funds acceleration features, and future financial offerings — transforming initial capabilities into trustworthy and adoptable customer experiences.

• Take ownership of the roadmap for integrating payments into physical, in-person interactions for our clients, crafting experiences that are smooth and seamless at the front desk.

• Lead the roadmap for strengthening the cross-service financial logic that connects Boulevard's systems — minimizing coupling and fostering ongoing enhancements in our delivery cycles.

• Define and implement standardized reconciliation reporting, automated settlement ingestion and validation, and exception alerting — addressing the gaps that currently necessitate manual financial review as transaction volumes increase.

• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams to enhance fraud monitoring and signal ingestion, automate dispute workflows, and diminish Boulevard's reliance on manual investigations as payment volumes and complexities rise.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of product management experience, with significant responsibility for payments, fintech, or other critical financial products in a B2B or SaaS context.

• Technical proficiency in payments: you are able to confidently discuss concepts such as PayFac, tokenization and settlement, ACH, disputes, and compliance — without needing an engineer to interpret.

• Experience in a PayFac, payment processor, or fintech infrastructure setting.

• Commercial acumen: you link product and infrastructure choices to revenue, margins, and customer outcomes, and can advocate for investments in a roadmap filled with competing priorities.

• Risk-aware, not risk-averse: you understand how to balance reliability and control with speed and growth, and you can establish trust with both technical and compliance-focused stakeholders.

• Systems thinker: you can keep multiple interdependent products and teams in perspective simultaneously, translating that complexity into a structured roadmap.

• Cross-functional influence: you have collaborated closely with Engineering, Risk/Compliance, Finance, and CX without having direct authority.
