This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead Product Strategy & Roadmap: Take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a varied portfolio of financial systems and processes that facilitate Financial Transaction Processing, Data Management, and Reporting & Analytics.
• Drive Business Impact: Identify potential opportunities, construct compelling business cases grounded in relevant data, and establish clear objectives (OKRs) for initiatives aimed at automating processes, enhancing insights, and supporting strategic business goals.
• AI and Financial Process Modernization: Advocate for the development and execution of AI-driven solutions to transform financial processes, including the exploration of innovative opportunities to improve financial data analysis, automate workflows for increased efficiency, and utilize machine learning for generating deeper, actionable insights.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Finance (Accounting, FP&A), Merchandising, Technology, Strategy, and Business Operations to comprehend complex business challenges and pain points, facilitate design discussions, and achieve alignment on solutions.
• End-to-End Execution: Convert business requirements into technical solutions, clearly articulate use cases, and drive the successful execution and delivery of high-impact product experiences.
• Data Integrity & Scalability: Act as the primary Product Owner for financial data, ensuring that core application data models are optimized for our downstream reporting platforms and that resilient and scalable financial architectures are developed.
• Communication & Influence: Clearly communicate the product roadmap, vision, and progress to all stakeholders, from project teams to senior leadership.
• Possess over 8 years of experience in product management within financial consulting, accounting, finance, or related roles, particularly focused on supporting or managing financial systems applications.
• Have functional expertise in Financial and ERP processes as well as Retail and Supply Chain applications; experience in Merch Planning and eCommerce is highly preferred.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of core finance processes, such as accounting practices, monthly closing, financial reporting and forecasting, Merchandise Planning, and SOX controls.
• Demonstrate a passion for automating business processes, innovating with AI solutions, and integrating financial systems with broader enterprise applications.
• Have experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts, with a track record of translating complex financial requirements into technical product strategies that yield accurate and reliable data.
• Show exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate design and comprehensive process analysis, align diverse stakeholders, and manage ambiguity effectively.
• Be a strategic and data-driven thinker capable of rapidly understanding complex financial, business, and technical concepts and effectively articulating the narrative to influence stakeholders.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, IT/computer science, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
