Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and tailor financial models for new clients, which include:

• - Revenue projections by customer and SKU

• - Profit and Loss modeling

• - Analysis of cost structures

• - Scenario analysis and forecasting

• Extract reports from QuickBooks and other financial systems.

• Reconcile actual outcomes with budgets and forecasts.

• Conduct monthly variance analysis and pinpoint key business drivers.

• Maintain and refresh weekly 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts.

• Observe liquidity trends and identify potential cash constraints or opportunities.

• Ensure uniformity across all financial models and underlying assumptions.

• Reconcile revenue, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and operating expenses across various datasets and model tabs.

• Detect discrepancies and resolve financial modeling challenges.

• Engage in client onboarding meetings and discovery calls.

• Assist clients with model setup and inquiries related to financial reporting.

• Aid in ongoing client communications and deliverables.

• Execute trade spend and ROI analysis.

• Recognize trends, risks, and opportunities across customer channels and product lines.

• Monitor and assess industry Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to food and beverage CPG brands.

• Present insights and recommendations to internal leadership and clients.

• Validate assumptions using historical data, industry benchmarks, and business initiatives.

• Continuously enhance forecasting methodologies and model precision.

• Support initiatives centered on automation, AI, and process optimization.

• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and financial workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, consulting, or similar fields.

• Background in working with food and beverage CPG brands or consumer products companies.

• Proficient to advanced Excel skills, including:

• - Pivot Tables

• - SUMIFS

• - VLOOKUP and INDEX MATCH

• - Data reconciliation

• - Complex multi-tab financial models

• Strong comprehension of:

• - Profit and Loss statements

• - Cash flow forecasting

• - Budgeting and forecasting

• - Variance analysis

• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.

• Experience in constructing and maintaining intricate financial models.

• Ability to independently identify and resolve financial inconsistencies.

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Comfortable interacting directly with founders and non-financial stakeholders.

• Capable of explaining financial concepts in a straightforward and practical manner.

• Strong interest in food and beverage CPG businesses.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn industry-specific metrics, trends, and financial drivers.
