Group FP&A Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Support business operations from daily activities to medium- and long-term business transformation and ERP renewal from a finance perspective, aiming to enhance decision-making quality through numerical data.

• Drive the advancement of finance business processes and data utilization, focusing on cost and profitability management in the manufacturing domain.

• Act as the representative of the finance department in transforming business processes centered around ERP (SAP), connecting stakeholders and ensuring changes are ingrained in the field.

• Understand and support the improvement and stabilization of business processes in the management accounting area.

• Analyze data related to cost and profitability in manufacturing and production, providing insightful recommendations.

• Collaborate with related departments (Manufacturing, SCM, Finance, IT, etc.) to organize issues and participate in the discussion of improvement themes.

• Engage in activities related to the enhancement and renewal of business processes using ERP (such as SAP).

• Serve as a key user in the finance department, facilitating adjustments and providing support to stakeholders during business and system changes.

• Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in cost management, management accounting, or related finance functions within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in utilizing numerical data for analysis, reporting, and driving business improvements.

• Practical experience in advancing operations while collaborating with multiple departments.

• Fundamental knowledge and understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing accounting.

• Skills in data aggregation, analysis, and visualization using tools like Excel.

• Ability to view business processes holistically, organize challenges, and drive improvements.

• Capacity to understand stakeholders' perspectives and facilitate smooth communication and coordination.

• Strong execution capability to proactively advance operations.

• Experience in utilizing ERP systems (like SAP) or participation in system implementation or improvement projects.

• Interest and experience in working in a global environment and using English in business settings.
