This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Directly engage with defense and government clients to comprehend edge computing needs for warfighter and other critical mission scenarios.
• Convert intricate defense customer challenges into clear, actionable product specifications.
• Identify and rank gaps within Armada's solution offerings - covering hardware, platforms, monitoring, and ISV applications - essential for addressing defense and federal use cases.
• Contribute to the development roadmap for Armada's federal product segment, from requirement specification through to development, QA, and product launch.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement solutions that fulfill defense-grade criteria for security, reliability, and mission assurance.
• Act as the main product liaison among defense clients, field teams, and engineering departments.
• Provide guidance to sales, capture, and field teams regarding technical and product strategies for federal opportunities.
• Assist in the development of proposals, technical assessments, and customer presentations as the subject matter expert on federal solutions.
• Transform mission requirements from the DoD, IC, and federal entities into scalable platform functionalities.
• Promote secure edge-to-cloud capabilities that support disconnected, intermittent, and denied operational environments.
• A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, a Master's degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years, including a minimum of 5 years in product management for infrastructure, platform, cloud, or defense-related computing products.
• An active U.S. security clearance at the Secret level is mandatory.
• Experience within the defense sector, particularly related to computing utilized in warfighter or other critical mission contexts.
• Proven capability to grasp defense customer challenges and translate them into specific, actionable product requirements.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, edge computing, or infrastructure software.
• Demonstrated ability to develop methods for new assignments and apply judgment in variable, ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with technical, defense, and business audiences.
• Direct experience working with U.S. Government or Defense clients (DoD, IC, or federal agencies).
• A deep understanding of mission environments, classified systems, and operational constraints within defense.
• Familiarity with secure system design, zero-trust principles, and classified deployment models.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
