Senior Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior PM for Developer Ecosystems, you will be instrumental in shaping our ecosystem strategy across four primary domains:

• Ecosystem Strategy & Vision — Collaborating closely with Boulevard's Partnerships team, you will aid in defining the ecosystem strategy — identifying our target audience, determining our market presence, and outlining growth opportunities.

• Partner & Integration Experience — You will take full ownership of Boulevard's integration portfolio from start to finish — managing essential first-party integrations that businesses rely on today (such as Shopify, QuickBooks, etc.), as well as overseeing the developer platform and partnerships that will enhance Boulevard's offerings in the future.

• MCP & AI Connectivity — You will be responsible for Boulevard's MCP strategy — guiding how external AI agents and systems collaborate with Boulevard on behalf of our businesses and clients.

• Define and Measure Success — You will establish criteria for success — encompassing developer adoption, integration usage, and partner-driven revenue impact — and utilize these metrics to continually refine and enhance the vision and roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Platform PM experience: A minimum of 5 years in product management, with extensive experience in overseeing developer-facing products — such as APIs, developer portals, or similar.

• Ecosystem strategy depth: You have actively contributed to the development or expansion of a developer ecosystem and possess insights on ecosystem growth — including sequencing partner investments, integrating API monetization into platform strategies, and understanding how dynamics evolve as an ecosystem matures.

• Build vs. partner judgment: You have a well-defined framework for determining when to build internally, when to empower third-party developers, and when a strategic partnership is appropriate — with a proven history of applying this judgment consistently under pressure.

• Technical fluency: You are capable of discussing API design, webhook architecture, and MCP without needing engineers to translate for you.

• Partnership collaboration: You have experience working in closely shared-accountability relationships with a Partnerships or Business Development team — collaborating on roadmap priorities, managing co-development tradeoffs, and establishing product frameworks that facilitate scalable partner relationships.

• Executive communication: This domain is new to Boulevard and necessitates ongoing alignment across the organization. You can clearly communicate complex technical tradeoffs to cross-functional stakeholders, including leadership, and relate developer platform initiatives to broader company objectives.

• First-principles thinking: You thrive in ambiguous situations and have demonstrated your ability to bring clarity and structure to evolving environments.
