Senior Product Manager – Design Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the product development journey from minimum viable product (MVP) to a premier creation platform by defining the roadmap, vision, and success metrics.

• Take ownership of the complete user experience for visual creation workflows, from ideation and layout to export and publication.

• Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Design, Marketing, SEO, Research, and AI to create adaptive, multimodal creation experiences.

• Define and enhance workflows, templates, and design systems that simplify content creation for users without technical expertise.

• Work closely with writing, chat, and productivity product teams to ensure smooth transitions between ideation, drafting, and design phases.

• Leverage analytics, research insights, and product intuition to find the right balance between user satisfaction, technical feasibility, and business results.

• Lead a cross-functional team focused on achieving measurable growth in engagement, retention, traffic, and user satisfaction.

• Promote experimentation and ongoing iteration to enhance creation speed, output quality, and overall user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Product Management, including a minimum of 2 years working on products centered around creation, design, or productivity.

• Demonstrated success in taking consumer-facing products from inception (0→1) or scaling products from initial success (1→N).

• Strong familiarity with B2C/consumer product ecosystems.

• Experience with AI-assisted or automation-driven workflows, such as generative AI, text-to-image systems, auto-layout, or multimodal content creation.

• In-depth understanding of UX principles for creative tools and empathy for users who are not technically inclined.

• Strong design sensibility, including knowledge of visual hierarchy, layouts, and creating intuitive design experiences.

• A data-driven mindset with experience using analytics and experimentation frameworks to inform decisions.
