Senior Product Manager, Design Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the advancement of the creation suite from a minimum viable product to a leading QuillBot offering—steering the roadmap, success metrics, and user experience.

• Take ownership of the comprehensive user journey for visual creation—from concept development to layout and export.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, marketing, branding, SEO, and researchers to transform text and ideas into adaptive, multimodal outputs.

• Define and validate workflows, templates, and design systems that empower non-designers to become creators.

• Work in close partnership with the Writing and Chat product teams to ensure smooth transitions between idea generation, drafting, and design.

• Leverage data, research, and product intuition to harmonize user satisfaction, technical feasibility, and business impact.

• Lead a cross-functional team toward measurable results—traffic, engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of product management experience, including a minimum of 2 years focused on building or growing creation or design-oriented products.

• A proven history of guiding consumer-facing tools from inception to maturity, preferably within the creative or productivity sectors.

• Experience with AI-assisted or automation-driven workflows—such as text-to-image, auto-layout, or generative creation—is highly preferred.

• Profound understanding of user experience for creative tools and a strong empathy for non-technical users.

• Strong design sensibility; you have a grasp of layout, visual hierarchy, and the elements that make creation seamless.

• A data-informed approach; comfortable utilizing analytics to guide decisions and assess success.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across design, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams.
