Senior Product Manager, Consumer Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the consumer's initial experience with Bark: from how they search and explore options, to detailing their requirements, and how confidently they connect with suitable professionals.

• Enhance the number of consumers who successfully complete this journey while maintaining the quality of submissions received by professionals.

• Transform a vague request into a precise brief that a professional can effectively respond to.

• Instill enough trust in potential clients for them to welcome unfamiliar professionals into their homes.

• Provide consumers with confidence regarding pricing before any discussions take place.

• Collaborate effectively within your team and across other squads to ensure the optimal experience for our consumers.

• Work in partnership with the Professional team, Marketplace balancing team, and the Enquiry to Hire team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in funnel analysis. You have previously managed a consumer conversion journey and can interpret a funnel, formulate hypotheses, and conduct experiments that drive results.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity. You have developed products where the model was still evolving, solutions were not apparent, and you had to establish clarity proactively.

• Evidence-based decision making. You proficiently utilize both qualitative and quantitative data, knowing which type is necessary for specific decisions.

• Influence without formal authority. You can align multiple teams towards a common plan even when they do not report directly to you.

• AI-driven product mindset — you leverage AI tools to expedite discovery, design, and delivery processes.

• Experience in a two-sided marketplace, where you've had to balance considerations of supply and demand simultaneously (this is a bonus, not a requirement).

• Background in adapting to a shifting business model (e.g., subscription, marketplace, or platform transitions).
