Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead a program aimed at transforming digital services to achieve established strategic objectives that align with both internal and client goals.

• Convert strategic aims into product roadmaps and designated workstreams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the initial phases of idea development to ensure new proposals are in line with the strategic roadmap and can be realistically delivered within constraints (such as time, budget, and technical capabilities).

• Oversee and update the master delivery roadmap alongside integrated project timelines.

• Monitor and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on performance metrics, progress against milestones, and adherence to contracts.

• Maintain logs of risks and issues; lead remediation planning and incorporate RAG status reviews and structured delivery cycles.

• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

• Develop comprehensive project plans and guarantee successful delivery throughout all phases (design, build, test, release, and transition to BAU).

• Ensure that all project documentation is precise, consistent, and in compliance with contractual obligations.

• Produce and assist with internal and external reporting, which includes delivery dashboards, governance documents, annual reviews, and strategic plans.

• Demonstrated experience in program delivery and product development, preferably in the digital or public sector.

• Strong comprehension of project and product lifecycles, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Capability to manage complex interdependencies across multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on risk mitigation and performance tracking.

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments with competing priorities.

• Proficient in creating executive-level reports and supporting governance documentation.
