This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the PC gaming industry, encompassing ecosystems, distribution models, audience segmentation, and monetization trends.
• Spearhead the vision and strategy for a new product domain, guaranteeing the development of a high-quality product that aligns with Mozilla’s strengths and delivers customer value.
• Oversee a team of design and engineering professionals to craft an enjoyable and user-focused product that meets or surpasses business objectives.
• Navigate seamlessly between high-level strategic planning and practical execution, translating strategies into actionable roadmaps and plans for the teams.
• Communicate product plans, customer value, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including cross-functional partners, Mozilla Leadership, employees, and customers.
• Act as a thought leader in the gaming sector, possessing a robust understanding of the market, various audiences, and potential opportunities within the industry.
• Establish and manage product metrics to assess performance, validate strategic decisions, and prioritize the roadmap; adept at transitioning between qualitative insights and quantitative data to build conviction and convey progress.
• Balance competing priorities across cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and trust with partners while maintaining a clear perspective on what the product needs to thrive.
• Over 7 years of product management experience, showcasing a proven track record of success.
• More than 5 years of experience within the video gaming industry, with a strong familiarity with PC/desktop gaming ecosystems, platforms, and audiences.
• A passion or long-term interest in gaming.
• At least 5 years of experience managing cross-disciplinary teams, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
• Proven track record in building and scaling early-stage products, shaping the product based on customer and market insights, achieving product market fit, and driving growth.
• Ability to define and manage product metrics to prioritize the roadmap and instill confidence in the product strategy.
• Comfortable representing the product externally through thought leadership, podcasts, conferences, and other platforms.
