Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• The Product Manager is a multifaceted role that entails taking ownership and accountability for a product or service along with all associated issues and considerations.

• In the capacity of a Product Manager, you will serve as the liaison between product stakeholders and the development team, translating business requirements into product specifications.

• Play a pivotal role in cultivating capabilities that will enhance various mission-critical software initiatives.

• Gain insights into Welocalize use cases, strategize on where software solutions can be implemented to generate business impact, and leverage these insights to develop and advocate for the product roadmap.

• Collaborate closely with exceptional talent across engineering teams and facilitate seamless integration with other systems to create effective software solutions.

• Establish clear OKRs to monitor progress towards our objective of promoting software adoption and effectiveness.

• Work alongside internal operational stakeholders, external clients, and our engineering team to guarantee product success.

• Engage with cross-functional teams to grasp business requirements, articulate clear objectives, and formulate technical plans.

• Create metrics that reflect the business needs for stakeholder cases, participate in the analysis of experiment outcomes, interpret findings, and offer actionable recommendations.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in software engineering, technologies, and methodologies.

• Lead product development and launches by collaborating with multiple stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage timelines.

• Track product performance and user feedback to ensure product success.

• Formulate and implement a structured plan to regularly engage with stakeholders to capture all product needs.

• Ensure that development requirements are internally consistent, well-articulated, and detailed enough for implementation by developers.

• Collaborate with the development team by involving them in the formation of the product vision, sharing credit for achievements, considering complexities before presenting requirements, and establishing schedules through consensus.

• Contribute to a culture of excellence, open communication, courage, and mutual respect.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in software product management.

• Familiarity with AI and ML technologies and localization platforms, including TMS, CAT tools, LQA, MT, and integrations.

• A background in Life Sciences is advantageous.

• Proven ability to collaborate with senior executives, stakeholders, and users to outline and manage scope, strategy, and requirements.

• Strong capacity to seek, understand, and analyze data, research, and insights to support data-driven decision-making.

• A versatile communicator, collaborator, and presenter who enjoys sharing findings and insights.

• Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

• Comprehension of Lean and Agile methodologies.

• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving context.

• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).

• Ability to craft clear and concise presentations and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

• Proven expertise in the specialization, execution, and delivery of software products.

• Demonstrated project management capabilities, including effective planning, organization, and administration of multi-functional responsibilities.

• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional planning sessions (e.g., Scrum and Squad in Agile).

• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively and inspire teams and individuals, including remote employees.

• Ability to negotiate and resolve complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.
