Senior Product Manager

📋 Description

• Identifies and validates market challenges by:

• Working closely with internal product stakeholders to enhance market-facing product offerings.

• Continuously reviewing industry guidelines, specifications, and regulations.

• Engaging with users/buyers of the platform to gather and synthesize product feedback.

• Meeting with current and prospective customers to capture the customer voice.

• Recognizing industry disruptions that are influencing expenditures in the clinical market sector.

• Deeply comprehending customer needs and user-centric design to articulate internal and external customer requirements.

• Optimizing trade-off decisions throughout the development lifecycle.

• Providing strategic direction for the platform or product line, encompassing technical, commercial, and market-facing dimensions.

• Leading the formulation of AI-embedded product strategies for the designated platform or product line, determining how AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics capabilities will be prioritized, sequenced, and delivered to create measurable client value.

• Creating, maintaining, and communicating the product vision, positioning, value proposition, buyer/user personas, competitive insights, and roadmaps for individual products within a product line.

• Developing, owning, and sustaining the roadmap and product vision to achieve stakeholder consensus and approval for product initiatives.

• Managing the overall scoping of product initiatives alongside setting and managing expectations for business leadership, Engineering, and Data teams.

• Coaching and mentoring Product Managers and Associate Product Managers in identifying, scoping, and presenting AI-driven product opportunities, ensuring a consistent quality of AI feature development across the team.

• Assisting in the creation of statements of work, RFI responses, and marketing materials.

• Presenting demonstrations at customer locations, trade shows, and via web conferencing.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may occasionally be unrelated to the described position.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or software engineering; experience in clinical research or healthcare technology is essential.

• A functional understanding of the broader clinical research process, clinical operations, and/or various clinical software systems (e.g., for clinical site support, patient engagement, safety, regulatory review, etc.).

• Experience delivering commercial software in a 21 CFR Part 11 validated environment is an advantage.

• Proven ability to make quick and complex decisions that optimize across multiple, and sometimes competing, objectives.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics capabilities into product strategy and roadmap decisions, with the capacity to assess feasibility, communicate client impact, and align AI investments with business objectives.

• Results-oriented, a team player who holds oneself and others accountable for delivering results for both customers and the business.

• Proven ability to operate and influence at the team level in a complex, matrixed environment while developing product strategies and executing across diverse customer groups, internal stakeholders, and products.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, across all management levels.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is preferred.
