This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Create prototypes to validate concepts and draft PRDs to ensure team alignment; both elements are essential.
• Develop PRDs that begin with objectives and the tasks customers aim to accomplish, then detail user journeys, requirements, and acceptance criteria that are clear enough for development and justifiable during executive reviews.
• Release preliminary versions to selected customers early, observe their actual usage, and make adjustments accordingly. Tailor the level of polish based on the confidence in the solution.
• Take ownership of the problem, prioritize tasks, and establish success metrics. Delegate the implementation to engineering while providing input when they present trade-offs.
• Define agents, skills, and workflows that customers can manage and enhance, designed for a product that serves both people and agents as users.
• Discover which AI workflows customers are willing to pay for through design-partner collaborations and validated experiments. Allow pricing and packaging to follow proven demand rather than dictate it.
• Design systems with contingencies for errors, not just optimal scenarios: include audit trails, permissions, rollback capabilities, and evaluation loops. Since our agents operate within customers' Salesforce environments, a malfunctioning agent can damage trust. The manner of failure is crucial.
• Utilize AI tools in your own responsibilities (discovery, PRDs, prototypes, analysis) and mentor other PMs and product owners in the craft.
• Conduct genuine discovery. Formulate significant questions, design tests that yield clear insights, and invest substantial time with customers and prospects to understand their needs and where current solutions fall short.
• Transition from discussions to a demonstrable product within days. A functional prototype is often the quickest method to validate demand and can often serve as a pre-sale tool.
• Map the entire buying group, considering not just the end user, but the economic buyer, integration owner, procurement, and others who influence adoption decisions.
• Manage the design-partner process for your domain. Pre-sell a concentrated version of the vision to a select group of prospects before the product is fully developed and organize each engagement so that insights gained can be transformed into repeatable products.
• Collaborate with sales to align on commercial strategy for your area. Engage in deals and renewals proactively rather than waiting for invitations, steer discussions towards feasible projects, and build credibility with your sales and customer success partners.
• Incorporate insights gained from the field into pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies.
• Integrate lessons learned from deals and renewals back into the roadmap, ensuring that what the team develops connects to real pipeline opportunities, commitments, or expansions.
• Partner with Customer Success on rollout strategies, adoption initiatives, and ensure customers are informed prior to any changes impacting their organizations.
• Treat engineering as an equal partner. Establish agreement on the problem and success criteria upfront, then allow them to determine the construction process.
• When an initiative involves both internal engineering and external delivery partners, maintain clear scope boundaries and address changes promptly to avoid oversights.
• Post-launch, assess adoption against the success criteria outlined in the PRD and apply insights from this evaluation to future iterations.
• Over 3 years of experience in product management within B2B or enterprise SaaS environments.
• Proven track record of impactful decisions that advanced the business, including specifics such as named accounts, revenue saved or generated, and successful deal turnarounds.
• Proficient in hands-on prototype development using tools like Claude, Lovable, or Cursor.
• Deep understanding of AI systems, including prompt design, realistic assessments of LLMs' limitations, and experience in building evaluations.
• Excellent PRD writing skills: crafting requirements that teams can work from without excessive back-and-forth, organized around user objectives rather than preferred solutions.
• Versatile commercial skills: comfortable conducting discovery calls, engaging in sales discussions, presenting a vision to enterprise buyers before product availability, and participating in QBRs.
• Experience in environments where product teams dictate the what and why while engineering teams determine the how.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits (99% employer-paid for employees).
• Flexible paid time off (PTO).
• Every other Friday off (Fri-yay!).
• 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave; 16 weeks for birthing individuals.
• Company-funded life insurance.
• 401k matching.
• Cell phone reimbursement stipend.
• Wellness stipend.
• Vacation bonuses.
• Anniversary bonuses.
• Employee Assistance Program.
