📋 Description

• Lead and implement a comprehensive multi-quarter product strategy for a significant aspect of Runpod’s AI infrastructure platform, directly linked to revenue growth, user adoption, retention, gross margin, customer outcomes, and platform scalability.

• Identify the target market, customer segments, buyer personas, user personas, and ideal customer profile by leveraging customer research, product usage statistics, sales data, competitive assessments, and market trends.

• Develop business cases for substantial product investments, covering market opportunities, customer pain points, willingness to pay, competitive landscape, adoption challenges, risks, and anticipated ROI.

• Create and oversee a KPI-driven roadmap where every key initiative addresses a specific customer issue, business goal, success metric, leading indicator, and measurable impact.

• Define, monitor, and report on essential product and business metrics, including activation, conversion, usage growth, revenue contribution, retention, expansion, churn, compute utilization, gross margin, time-to-value, NPS, and feature engagement.

• Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to inform product decisions, prioritize roadmap trade-offs, assess launch performance, and continually refine strategy.

• Engage in regular customer discovery sessions with prospects, customers, partners, and internal go-to-market teams to identify scalable market opportunities and validate product direction.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Infrastructure to provide reliable, scalable, and user-friendly platform features that enhance customer outcomes and support business growth.

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Partnerships, and Legal to ensure go-to-market readiness, including input on positioning, pricing and packaging, launch planning, enablement, onboarding, and expansion initiatives.

• Clearly communicate product strategy, business impact, roadmap progress, competitive insights, key risks, and trade-offs to executives, strategic customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of product management experience, preferably with ownership of a technical, infrastructure, developer platform, cloud, AI/ML, enterprise software, marketplace, or usage-based product.

• Proven track record in managing products at a significant scale, ideally catering to millions of users, hundreds of thousands of developers, large enterprise customers, or managing high-volume infrastructure workloads.

• Demonstrated capability to make product decisions in large-scale environments where reliability, performance, usability, cost efficiency, and customer trust are paramount.

• Strong business acumen with a history of linking product strategy to revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, expansion, margin enhancement, or operational efficiency.

• Excellent analytical skills, including experience in defining KPIs, analyzing funnels, interpreting usage trends, evaluating cohorts, measuring launch success, and utilizing data to prioritize roadmap decisions.

• Experience in crafting business cases for product investments, including market sizing, customer segmentation, ROI analysis, adoption assumptions, competitive positioning, and financial implications.

• Strong customer discovery capabilities, with a talent for engaging prospects and customers, uncovering business and technical challenges, and translating insights into scalable product opportunities.

• Comfort in technical domains, with the ability to grasp infrastructure concepts, APIs, developer workflows, cloud platforms, distributed systems, AI/ML workloads, or usage-based compute products.

• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Infrastructure, Legal, and executive teams to ensure alignment and execution.

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of producing clear strategy documents, executive narratives, roadmap updates, launch plans, and business cases in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
