Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire product lifecycle for the emissions management product line, encompassing market discovery, concept development, launch, iteration, and long-term growth.

• Articulate and share an engaging product vision that is rooted in customer requirements, regulatory trends (CII, EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, IMO 2030/2050), and competitive landscape.

• Create and uphold the product roadmap, making decisive prioritization choices that balance customer value, commercial potential, and technical viability.

• Serve as the internal authority on emissions management, acting as the expert who influences how the business approaches and capitalizes on this sector.

• Represent the senior stakeholder perspective on all issues related to emissions management solutions, having the final say on the design and direction of solution sets.

• Foster alignment across commercial, product, and operations teams, simplifying complexity to ensure cross-functional groups are working towards the same objectives.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with key clients, acting as a strategic advisor who comprehends their business and assists them in achieving measurable results.

• Represent the product at external industry forums, customer presentations, and partner discussions.

• Collaborate closely with commercial leadership to formulate go-to-market strategies, pricing structures, and value propositions for the emissions management portfolio.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth within the group, including upselling, cross-selling, and entering new markets.

• Contribute to business cases, pipeline development, and contract strategies where the product intersects with commercial engagements.

• Lead the design of customer-facing solutions that convert complex emissions data, analytics, and compliance workflows into user-friendly, high-value products.

• Ensure that solutions are developed with longevity in mind, prioritizing reusable, platform-ready components over one-time customizations.

• Oversee cross-functional initiatives from discovery to execution, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and project specifications.

• Establish success metrics, monitor progress against them, and clearly communicate risks, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.

• Advocate for agile, iterative delivery practices while maintaining a clear perspective of the long-term roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in senior product management, preferably within a B2B technology or data-driven context.

• Extensive knowledge of maritime emissions management, environmental performance, or fleet optimization, with a clear understanding of the regulatory landscape (IMO, CII, EU ETS, MARPOL) and how maritime stakeholders navigate it.

• Demonstrated capability to take ownership of and drive a product from initial concept to commercial scaling.

• Strong business acumen, comfortable collaborating with sales and commercial teams, contributing to revenue strategies, and comprehending the economics of product businesses.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, with the confidence and credibility to engage at senior levels both internally and externally.

• Experience leading cross-functional programs and aligning diverse teams towards shared goals.

• Background in maritime technology, fleet management software, or environmental compliance solutions.

• Familiarity with data products, analytics platforms, or decision-support tools.

• Knowledge of decarbonization pathways, alternative fuels, or carbon accounting methodologies.

• Proven track record of launching new products or penetrating new markets.
