Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle for the emissions management product line, from market research and concept development to launch, ongoing iterations, and long-term growth.

• Articulate and convey a compelling product vision that aligns with customer requirements, regulatory trends (CII, EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, IMO 2030/2050), and competitive landscapes.

• Develop and sustain the product roadmap, making prioritization decisions that strike a balance between customer value, commercial potential, and technical feasibility.

• Serve as the internal expert on emissions management, becoming the primary authority that influences how the business approaches and monetizes this domain.

• Act as the senior stakeholder representative on all issues related to emissions management solutions, holding the final decision-making authority on solution design and strategic direction.

• Facilitate alignment among commercial, product, and operations teams, simplifying complexities to ensure cross-functional teams are unified in their objectives.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with key customers, providing strategic advice that helps them achieve measurable business results.

• Represent the product at industry forums, customer briefings, and partner discussions, showcasing its value and capabilities.

• Collaborate closely with commercial leadership to create go-to-market strategies, pricing structures, and value propositions for the emissions management portfolio.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth across the organization, including upselling, cross-selling, and entering new markets.

• Contribute to business cases, pipeline development, and contract strategies where the product intersects with commercial activities.

• Lead the design of customer-facing solutions that convert complex emissions data, analytics, and compliance workflows into user-friendly, high-value products.

• Ensure that solutions are designed for longevity, favoring reusable, platform-ready components over one-off customizations.

• Spearhead cross-functional initiatives from discovery to execution, coordinating both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and on-brief delivery.

• Establish success metrics, track progress, and communicate clearly to senior leadership regarding risks, progress, and outcomes.

• Advocate for agile, iterative delivery methods while maintaining a comprehensive view of the long-term roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in senior product management, preferably in a B2B technology or data-centric environment.

• Extensive understanding of maritime emissions management, environmental performance, or fleet optimization, with knowledge of the regulatory landscape (IMO, CII, EU ETS, MARPOL) and how maritime stakeholders navigate it.

• Demonstrated capability to lead and propel a product from initial concept to commercial success.

• Strong commercial insight, comfortable collaborating with sales and commercial teams, contributing to revenue strategies, and grasping the economics of a product-based business.

• Outstanding stakeholder management abilities, possessing the confidence and credibility to engage with senior levels both internally and externally.

• Experience in leading cross-functional programs and aligning diverse teams towards shared goals.

• Background in maritime technology, fleet management software, or environmental compliance solutions.

• Familiarity with data products, analytics platforms, or decision-support tools.

• Knowledge of decarbonization pathways, alternative fuels, or carbon accounting methodologies.

• Proven track record of launching new products or entering new markets.
