This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take full responsibility for a range of product topics from identifying customer issues to delivering solutions that provide genuine value.
• Determine what to build and prioritize for your topics, shape the concepts, and collaborate with engineering to drive the project through to completion.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand their actual needs, validate your assumptions instead of relying on guesses, and use your insights to make informed product decisions.
• Manage the flow of customer requests and insights: interpret customer inquiries, assess their implications for the product, direct them to the appropriate teams, and transform a stream of raw feedback into clear product guidance.
• Convert real-world problems into clear, well-defined, and feasible specifications, working in a specification-driven manner (currently utilizing OpenSpec) to a high standard.
• Innovate viable product ideas in a category that lacks existing solutions to emulate.
• Collaborate on UX and UI design with engineering, leveraging the existing product and component library, as we do not have a dedicated designer on the team.
• Work closely with our remote engineering team throughout the development process rather than relying on a handover approach: analyze solutions for gaps and edge cases prior to development, utilize AI where beneficial, and after launch, verify whether the results achieved the intended value and user satisfaction.
• Proven experience managing B2B SaaS products from inception to delivery, with a strong sense of accountability for the value they provide.
• A deep understanding of digital B2B products and the capability to create viable concepts rather than merely replicating existing models.
• Strong judgment in requirements gathering and scoping: you excel at clarifying vague problems, making them precise and well-defined, and know what aspects to exclude.
• An organized, process-oriented approach complemented by a genuine comfort in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.
• Regular, proficient use of AI tools (such as Claude or similar) as an integral part of your thought process, specification writing, and problem analysis, as our team is AI-first and expects the same from you.
• Experience in a specification-driven setting (like OpenSpec or similar); you naturally translate ambiguous ideas into rigorous, comprehensive, and actionable definitions.
• Comfort with data modeling: you can effectively reason about entities and their relationships, enabling you to dissect problems and maintain a high standard with engineering.
• Technical proficiency: you are comfortable using a terminal and can reason about data flows, system limitations, and the behavior of an agentic product.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with a remote engineering team.
• Proficiency in English; professional German language skills are a significant advantage given our customer base.
• A remote-first work environment, based in Europe for convenient timezone alignment, with access to our Munich office and outdoor workspace.
• Flexible working hours along with a 'take what you need' vacation policy.
• Direct collaboration with our Director of Product Management and CPO, along with true ownership of your product domains.
• Competitive salary complemented by a virtual Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), allowing you to grow with the company.
• A team of motivated, friendly, and inspiring colleagues.
• An opportunity to join a growing SaaS company in the Data & AI sector at a pivotal moment to make a significant impact.
• Regular team events and some friendly competitions in Spikeball or Table Tennis.
