Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ownership of Technical Roadmap: Lead the strategic vision for vCluster by converting overarching goals into precise product requirements and comprehensive technical specifications that facilitate effective engineering execution.

• Partnership with Founders: Collaborate closely with leadership to navigate intricate technical decisions, ensuring our architecture sets the benchmark for multi-tenant Kubernetes.

• Hands-on Validation: Engage directly with engineering to define features, validate implementations, and thoroughly test alpha/beta versions to guarantee we deliver enterprise-level infrastructure.

• Insights from Customers: Directly interact with platform engineers at leading organizations to collect feedback, comprehend real-world applications, and pinpoint the next significant opportunity for product development.

• Market Positioning: Perform thorough competitive analysis within the cloud-native landscape and collaborate with GTM teams to ensure our messaging resonates with highly technical audiences.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the essential link between Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring that our development aligns seamlessly with sales strategies and customer support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: Over 6 years of experience in Product Management with a successful history of developing and launching platform services, cloud-native infrastructure, or distributed systems.

• Background in Infrastructure: Proven experience in creating "Kubernetes-as-a-Service" solutions, either as a managed service for a cloud provider or as a centralized on-premises platform for a large enterprise.

• Technical Expertise: You are "K8s-native," possessing knowledge of controllers, CRDs, and API mechanisms. You are adept at engaging with senior engineers regarding intricate system architecture and multi-tenant isolation.

• Knowledge in AI & MLOps Infrastructure: Familiarity with the infrastructure needs of the contemporary landscape, particularly concerning MLOps, AI infrastructure (GPU slicing/scheduling), and large language model deployment patterns.

• Foundational Grit: You excel in ambiguous situations and are eager to develop the product management playbook from the ground up. You take full ownership and drive results without relying on a predefined process.

• Strategic Execution: You have prior experience scaling a technical product from initial adoption to a leading position in the market.
