This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the RTPB and Pharmacy Alternatives product roadmap, managing it from problem identification to launch and subsequent iterations.
• Convert NCPDP real-time pharmacy benefit standards and payer/PBM connectivity requirements into detailed product specifications and requirements ready for engineering.
• Ensure the accuracy of formulary, copay, and benefit-check data, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to accuracy or latency with Engineering and payer/PBM integrations.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to guarantee that RTPB features adhere to regulatory requirements concerning pharmacy, payer, and data privacy.
• Work alongside Clinical and Pharmacy Operations teams to confirm actionable insights for prescribers.
• Oversee partnerships with payer/PBM connectivity partners, managing integration requirements, testing, and problem resolution.
• Establish and monitor metrics for transaction accuracy, latency, adoption rates, and prescriber/pharmacy satisfaction.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline the drafting of requirements, data analysis, and documentation processes.
• Advocate for RTPB and Pharmacy Alternatives during cross-functional planning, prioritization, executive updates, and roadmap discussions.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in product management, particularly with complex, regulated healthcare or pharmacy technology products; equivalent experience will be considered.
• A clinical background is essential, which may include a PharmD, pharmacy or clinical experience, or hands-on experience in developing pharmacy/PBM/benefit-check technology.
• A solid understanding of NCPDP standards, RTPB transactions, e-prescribing, and formulary/copay data frameworks is required.
• Ability to distill complex regulatory and clinical requirements into straightforward product specifications.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Compliance, and external payer/PBM partners is crucial.
• Proven experience managing a product roadmap with quantifiable outcomes related to accuracy, latency, or adoption.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment following a merger.
• Pre-employment drug screening may be conducted, as permitted by applicable law.
• Direct experience with e-prescribing network integration is preferred.
• Previous involvement with PBMs or payer connectivity teams is advantageous.
• Familiarity with solutions related to medication access, adherence, or patient cost transparency is preferred.
• Active pharmacy licensure or clinical credential is a plus.
