Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategic evolution of Homie's product by identifying opportunities to enhance the experience for tenants, property owners, and internal teams, converting them into clear, measurable digital solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Enhance the way tenants discover properties, understand their options, and progress toward leasing, identifying opportunities to increase conversion rates, trust, closure speed, and the quality of matches between users and properties.

• Design experiences that provide property owners and investors with greater visibility into their portfolios, including occupancy, payments, performance, maintenance, communication with Homie, and the overall status of their properties.

• Identify friction points across various user touchpoints and translate them into clear, measurable solutions aligned with business priorities.

• Gain a deep understanding of the needs of different users—tenants, property owners, internal teams, and business stakeholders—to develop solutions that balance user experience, operational efficiency, and technical feasibility.

• Clearly define product problems by structuring hypotheses, objectives, scopes, success criteria, and metrics that allow for evaluating whether a solution truly makes an impact.

• Prioritize product initiatives with strategic criteria, considering business impact, user experience, technical complexity, operational urgency, and team capacity.

• Build and maintain clear, realistic, and actionable roadmaps, ensuring focus on the most relevant problems and avoiding dispersion on low-impact initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design to transform opportunities into concrete solutions, ensuring that each initiative has sufficient context, well-defined scope, and clear delivery criteria.

• Utilize AI tools in a practical and critical manner to accelerate research, prototyping, documentation, solution exploration, specifications writing, or early idea validation.

• Measure the impact of launched initiatives, learn from the results, and adjust the product based on data, qualitative feedback, and business understanding.

• Provide structure, clarity, and strategic thinking in a startup environment, where problems can be ambiguous, resources are limited, and execution speed is crucial.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management within technology companies, digital products, or platforms facing complex user and operational challenges.

• Experience in marketplaces, transactional platforms, products with multiple types of users, or businesses where trust, conversion, and operations are critical factors.

• Strong ability to define problems, prioritize opportunities, build roadmaps, write specifications, and measure impact.

• Strong UX judgment. While you don't need to design interfaces, you must be able to detect friction points, understand user behaviors, and explain why an experience works or doesn’t.

• Experience driving products, features, or initiatives from 0 to 1, from discovery and definition through launch, measurement, and iteration.

• Ability to work with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders, translating complex needs into clear and actionable product decisions.

• Comfort working with data, product metrics, funnels, conversion, adoption, retention, operational efficiency, or business indicators.

• Ability to navigate between strategy and execution, understanding both the overall product vision and the necessary details to drive progress.

• Familiarity with AI tools for research, prototyping, documentation writing, solution exploration, or accelerating learning cycles.

• High ownership, structured thinking, and comfort working in startup contexts with short cycles, frequent changes, and minimal bureaucracy.

• Clear communication skills to align teams, defend decisions, explain trade-offs, and maintain focus on the most critical issues.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and judgment to question the status quo without losing pragmatism or execution speed.
