This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You create a comprehensive vision, convert company goals into actionable product objectives, and maintain a prioritized roadmap.
• You craft clear user stories, keep the backlog organized, and ensure alignment with sprint and quarterly goals.
• You perform structured discovery, validate concepts and solutions, and make decisions based on the outcomes.
• You collaborate closely with Engineering and QA to guarantee that features are delivered punctually and to a high standard — this includes developing test cases and release notes.
• You establish success criteria, monitor usage and performance, and optimize based on quantifiable results.
• You communicate priorities, trade-offs, and progress clearly and transparently to Business, Operations, and Leadership teams.
• You integrate the user's perspective into every decision-making process.
• You facilitate close collaboration among Developers, QA, Design, and Business stakeholders to ensure everyone understands the focus and their respective responsibilities.
• You influence our platform and process topics — from custom workflows and task management to notifications and permissions — ensuring these are customized to meet the needs of insurers and MGAs.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product management.
• Ideally, experience in insurance, finance, or workflow platforms (e.g., Camunda, Celonis, n8n, etc.).
• Proven track record in managing the product lifecycle from discovery to launch and ongoing improvement using data-driven approaches.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), backlog management, and requirements engineering.
• Capability to translate complex business and technical challenges into clear, actionable requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German (C1 level).
• Hands-on experience with common product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Figma, analytics tools, API documentation platforms).
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, QA, Design, and Operations teams to deliver incremental, iterative value.
