📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to convert strategic visions into products that both customers and Brand Partners appreciate.

• Transform the needs of customers, Brand Partners, operations, and stakeholders into product requirements that consider both digital and physical product aspects.

• Bring a hardware-focused product perspective to roadmap decisions, factoring in feasibility, manufacturability, operational complexity, logistics, quality, compliance, reliability, supportability, and scalability.

• Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Compliance, Fulfillment, Customer Support, and Brand Partner teams to ensure successful product development, launch, delivery, and support.

• Develop product artifacts that encompass end-to-end requirements throughout the complete product lifecycle, including user outcomes, stakeholder needs, technical limitations, operational workflows, physical product dependencies, launch readiness, and post-launch support requirements.

• Proactively identify real-world implementation risks, including vendor dependencies, fulfillment limitations, quality challenges, regulatory considerations, physical product restrictions, and potential customer experience failures.

• Assess tradeoffs between customer experience, business impact, technical feasibility, operational preparedness, compliance, and physical product limitations.

• Have a deep understanding and representation of the voice of EllieMD’s Brand Partners and customers in all your developments.

• Establish success metrics, prioritize product challenges, and deliver solutions that meet measurable business objectives.

• Take ownership of one or more products from concept through to launch and beyond, ensuring accountability for outcomes and ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Data, and Operations to learn rapidly, iterate swiftly, and deliver high-quality products.

• Maintain product backlogs that strike a balance between quick wins and long-term strategic goals.

• Drive progress against project milestones, address obstacles, and ensure effective team performance.

• Collect and analyze user research, product insights, and market data to guide product decisions and prioritization.

• Create structured product documentation, such as PRDs, user stories, and technical specifications, to facilitate implementation and ensure team alignment.

• Coordinate across functions effectively to launch products that provide a seamless customer journey.

• Clearly communicate about your development efforts, their significance, progress updates, risks, and key insights.

• Identify gaps and interdependencies across systems, proactively delivering solutions that enhance organizational efficiency.

• Lead brainstorming and strategy sessions, simplifying complexity into products that address genuine issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, demonstrating a proven ability to develop and scale products from early stages.

• Experience in building or managing products in hardware, connected devices, physical products, healthcare products, regulated products, supply chain-intensive environments, or complex operational systems.

• Strong hardware-oriented product mindset, with the capacity to think beyond screens and software flows into real-world applications, operations, fulfillment, quality, reliability, compliance, and customer support.

• Ability to convert business and user requirements into product specifications that take into account both digital interactions and physical product limitations.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, which may include Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Vendors, Compliance, Quality, Customer Support, and Go-to-Market stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of how product choices influence downstream execution, including sourcing, vendor coordination, launch readiness, fulfillment, onboarding, support, and customer satisfaction.

• Proven track record of balancing user experience and technical scalability in the products you have developed.

• Data-driven mindset, with experience analyzing data, setting clear objectives, and guiding teams to deliver products that create measurable impact.

• Demonstrated ability to turn strategic vision into products that customers embrace and love.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for varied audiences.

• Experience fostering cross-functional collaboration and influencing without direct authority.

• Future Conversion: Anticipated transition to full-time W2 in 2026.

• Compensation: $175,000 - $190,000 (based on experience)

• Benefits: To be planned upon full-time conversion.
