This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate directly with the leadership team, including the CEO, to transform strategic vision into products that resonate with customers and Brand Partners.
• Gain a deep understanding of and advocate for the voice of EllieMD’s customers and Brand Partners in all product developments.
• Convert customer, Brand Partner, operational, and stakeholder needs into precise product specifications, user outcomes, and delivered solutions.
• Establish success metrics, prioritize product challenges, and deliver solutions that meet measurable business objectives.
• Manage and steer one or more products from conception through launch and beyond, ensuring accountability for results and ongoing enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Operations, Compliance, Customer Support, and Brand Partner teams to learn swiftly, iterate effectively, and deliver high-quality products.
• Develop and maintain product backlogs that balance immediate wins with long-term strategic initiatives.
• Propel progress against milestones, troubleshoot obstacles, and uphold effective team execution.
• Collect and analyze user research, product insights, customer feedback, Brand Partner contributions, business data, and market analysis to guide product decisions and prioritization.
• Produce organized product documentation, including PRDs, user stories, technical specifications, workflows, launch plans, and criteria for post-launch success.
• Facilitate effective coordination across functions to deliver products that integrate seamlessly into the customer journey.
• Communicate transparently about the products being developed, their significance, progress updates, risks, trade-offs, and key takeaways.
• Assess the trade-offs among customer experience, business impact, technical feasibility, operational preparedness, compliance, scalability, and execution speed.
• Identify gaps and interdependencies across systems and proactively implement solutions that enhance organizational efficiency.
• Lead brainstorming, prioritization, and strategy sessions, simplifying complexity into products that address real challenges.
• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of developing and scaling products from their early stages.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Capability to work in person with the CEO as needed.
• Strong foundational knowledge in product management, encompassing customer discovery, problem definition, prioritization, requirements writing, roadmap planning, execution management, launch planning, and post-launch iteration.
• Demonstrated ability to turn strategic vision into products that are both usable and beloved by customers.
• A robust history of balancing user experience, business outcomes, technical feasibility, operational complexity, and scalability.
• A data-driven mindset, with experience in analyzing data, defining clear objectives, and motivating teams to deliver products that produce measurable results.
• Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, Customer Support, Go-to-Market, and executive stakeholders.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts for varied audiences.
• Proven experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining clarity, organization, and accountability.
• Contract Role: Initially starting as a 1099 contractor.
• Future Conversion: Anticipated transition to full-time W2 in 2026.
• Compensation: $170,000-$190,000 (commensurate with experience).
• Benefits: Planned upon full-time conversion.
