Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Taking charge of product health monitoring and providing insights to engineering and product teams regarding the adoption and utilization of our services and features among customers across the EHR.

• Overseeing documentation and maintaining runbooks for our vendor integrations.

• Managing daily vendor and compliance relationships.

• Converting vendor specifications and compliance requirements into Engineering-ready user stories that include clear acceptance criteria.

• Collaborating with Design and Engineering to develop solutions rather than just specifications, considering workflow and interaction trade-offs before development begins.

• Engaging directly with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that the solutions we are developing effectively address their problems.

• Project-managing vendor integration and upgrade timelines.

• Collaborating with Engineering on implementation specifics and edge cases for vendor-facing features.

• Utilizing AI tools to enhance documentation, requirements drafting, and stakeholder communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical Program Manager in healthcare technology or another regulated industry.

• Strong data and technical fluency: comfortable reading API documentation, writing and interpreting SQL queries, and tracing data flow diagrams from start to finish; capable of delving into the data itself (not just the specifications) and communicating effectively with Engineering about implementation details.

• Experience in managing vendor and compliance relationships.

• Familiarity with working in scrum/agile environments, including writing user stories, managing backlogs, and conducting planning sessions.

• Comfort with compliance and regulatory matters: has experience with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, or similar healthcare data standards.

• Product development intuition: comfortable collaborating with Design on solution direction rather than solely on requirements, and confident in conducting customer conversations to validate the effectiveness of our builds.

• Detail-oriented: naturally identifies edge cases, missing requirements, and ambiguous acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in using AI for documentation, requirements, and communication tasks.

• Nice to have: Experience in creating lightweight automations (e.g., Zapier, Make, Retool) for recurring operational workflows.

• Nice to have: Background in support or technical case triage.

• Nice to have: Previous experience in a formal vendor negotiation or contract management role.
