
Senior Product Manager – API, Data, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Product strategy & ownership: Establish the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for a new range of data platforms and APIs, encompassing versioning, scalability, maintainability, SLAs, and well-defined success metrics.
• Customer-centric API design: Consider developers and integration partners as primary customers by identifying target users, use cases, API contracts, data schemas, and integration patterns that emphasize usability and extensibility.
• Execution & collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, data, marketing, and commercial teams to prioritize trade-offs, remove delivery obstacles, support go-to-market initiatives, and convey the product vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Quality, governance & continuous improvement (AI): Guarantee reliability, performance, security, and compliance while perpetually enhancing the platform through feedback, usage metrics, and AI-driven research and development methodologies.
• Over 7 years of experience in a product management role or similar position, with a proven track record of delivering data products in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Experience in leading product initiatives across strategy, prioritization, and execution.
• Previous experience in creating and managing platform, data, and/or API products.
• Comprehensive understanding of data systems, including data pipelines, data modeling, and concepts related to distributed systems.
• Familiarity with API design (e.g., REST), data integration methodologies, and system interoperability.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with engineering and data teams on technical product decisions and discussions at the architecture level.
• Background in banking and/or financial services.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience contributing to data-intensive or AI-driven products.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity, expedite workflows, and improve product development processes.
• Ability to assess and make decisions regarding system and product trade-offs (e.g., latency vs consistency, batch vs real-time processing).
