This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the roadmap and execution across Webflow's agent interfaces: the Webflow AI Assistant, MCP, Agent Instructions, and the underlying AI platform that facilitates our prompt-based agent interactions. This will be done in close collaboration with Engineering, Design, and Data teams.

• Ensure seamless integration. Organize the work so that each component strengthens the others, creating shared primitives that effectively serve both 1st-party and 3rd-party agents.

• Establish criteria for 'good' in products that exhibit non-consistent behavior. Set the quality standards for agent experiences, and develop evaluations, guardrails, and metrics to maintain those standards.

• Cater to both developers and creators simultaneously. Balance developer-focused interfaces like MCP and APIs with an intuitive assistant for visual, less-technical users.

• Play a significant role in shaping the agent product strategy and translate it into actionable work. You will influence the direction of the area, managing prioritization, trade-offs, and the roadmap.

• Engage actively in the development process. Product Managers at Webflow add value in various ways, including directly contributing to product development through coding. You will prototype ideas, implement minor improvements as needed, and remain closely involved in the implementation to make informed product decisions.

• Make informed decisions as the AI landscape evolves. With rapid advancements in models, protocols, and techniques, you will stay connected with customers, adapt swiftly, and distinguish between emerging standards and passing trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of product management experience, particularly with AI-driven systems, including experience with platforms, APIs, and extensibility.

• Understand the strengths and limitations of LLM-based tools, gained through practical experience in AI agent systems, code generation, or programmable interfaces.

• Ability to define 'good' for unpredictable products. You have experience building AI or similar products and have established evaluations, guardrails, and success metrics that ensure high quality despite variability in outputs.

• Capable of serving dual audiences. You have created both developer-focused tools and accessible products for less-technical creators, maintaining a balance without compromising either group.

• Passion for the entire software development process. You are inquisitive about all aspects of product creation and enjoy diving into details wherever necessary, whether that's creating a pull request, conducting user interviews, prototyping concepts, querying metrics, or crafting concise briefs.

• Collaborate as a peer and thought partner. You help shape direction alongside your manager and take initiative independently, thriving in a player-coach dynamic rather than a hierarchical structure.

• Maintain a curious mindset, building expertise in emerging AI to enhance both your work and your team’s performance.
