This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product master data across ERP systems and associated business platforms.

• Assess, manage, and enhance product records, which include attributes, specifications, pricing, supplier details, and product classifications.

• Work in conjunction with Operating Company Purchasing and Pricing teams to guarantee timely and precise product information that bolsters sales growth, procurement efficiency, inventory optimization, and digital commerce efforts.

• Perform continuous data quality audits and proactively detect, investigate, and rectify discrepancies to uphold the highest standards of data integrity.

• Assist in product lifecycle activities, such as introducing new products, managing supplier changes, updating pricing, and maintaining product initiatives.

• Implement and oversee product data synchronization processes established by the Regional Product File Manager.

• Ensure ERP product records are in alignment with supplier and manufacturer content overseen by Sonepar’s Master Data Management (MDM) organization.

• Contribute to enterprise data governance, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.

• Act as a subject matter expert on product data management processes, ERP systems, product classifications, and data governance standards.

• Offer coaching, training, and technical support to Product File Specialists to ensure compliance with data management best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in wholesale electrical distribution, industrial distribution, supply chain operations, product data management, master data governance, or a related area.

• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, Product Information Management (PIM) platforms, and/or B2B/B2C eCommerce settings.

• Proven ability to analyze, maintain, and enhance large-scale product data sets while ensuring exceptional accuracy and consistency.

• Experience in collaborating across various business functions to support operational, commercial, and customer-facing goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may also be considered.
